Rare Comparative Spiritualist Tract Spiritualism, Science, Philosophy, Religion: Questions and Answers from Cassadaga Minister Arthur Myers

Myers, Rev. Arthur A. Spiritualism, Science, Philosophy, Religion: Questions and Answers. National Spiritualist Association of Churches. Milwaukee, Wisconsin. [1960].

Questions and answers on the philosophy and religion of Spiritualism from Rev Arthur A Myers (1911 – 1997), prominent Spiritualist leader from faith center Cassadaga, Florida. Tracing the origins of the movement from disparate sources, Myers credits the Fox Sisters and Andrew Jackson Davis alongside non-spiritualists like Emmanuel Swedenborg, Franz Anton Mesmer, and Quaker founder George Fox for pointing the way toward contact with spirit. Drawing inspiration from other sources underscores Myers’ stance that spiritualism has no creed apart from the direct experience of God speaking to man through man.
