First edition of Spiritual Science by Sir William Earnshaw Cooper, consisting of an explanation of “Spiritual Science” (distinct from spiritualism), which seeks to apply the truths of the existence of the spirit world and life after death to the betterment of the individual and mankind as a whole through a “brotherhood of mediumship”. This edition from occult author and publisher William Walker Atkinson’s Yogi Publication Society predates the revised edition published in the UK by Fowler later the same year.
389pp + [5] ads. Blue cloth boards with gilt décor and lettering. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed. Minor bubbling to back board with wear to spine joint. Textblock toned. Pg 10-11 stained by newsprint. Very good.
