Rorschach, Hermann. Psychodiagnostik Tafeln – Psychodiagnostics Plates. Hans Huber, Medical Publisher. Bern. Grune and Stratton Inc. New York. 1948. Second Edition.
A complete set of second edition Rorschach test plates from 1948, well-preserved in box in both black and white and color. Originally published by Swiss psychologist Hermann Rorschach in 1921 alongside his book Psychodiagnostik, this set of 10 evocative abstract symmetrical images, created by use of pressed inkblots, were selected to be deliberately ambiguous, allowing for inferences to be drawn from what patients report seeing in them. First intended for use in the diagnosis of schizophrenia, Rorschach plates have a long standing us in various types of associative personality and psychological assessment.
10 plates in original folded card box. Box shows minor wear and toning to edges. Plates lightly toned. Some wear to back edge plate 10. Very good.
