Original Version of the Aquarian Source Family Teaching Text No More Secrets

Aquarian, Electricity and Isis. No More Secrets: Wisdom Teachings The Basics. [Drag City] [Chicago, Illinois]. [2008].

A copy of the original version of No More Secrets containing the practices and philosophy of the 1960s Source Family cult, whose members all adopted the surname Aquarian, led by Father Yod with sections on tarot, sex magic, meditation, and the use of the divine names of God “intended for careful study… so that [one] may be able to contact more fully the Inner Man, the Source of Wisdom and Light Eternal.”

Father Yod, born James Baker (1922 – 1975), was the controversial charismatic leader of the New Age Source Family group, whose teachings combined western esotericism, kabbalah, kundalini yoga, and more. The group fell on hard times after its leader’s death in a hang gliding accident in 1975, but is best remembered for its once iconic popular vegetarian restaurant The Source Restaurant (featured in Annie Hall) as well as the psychedelic rock albums produced by the group’s band known as Yahowa-13 under various other names. Knowledge of the Source Family and their teachings spread with the publication of this book — connected to a Yahowa-13 vinyl release also through Drag City — and the later documentary, The Source Family (2012). No More Secrets has gone on to be reprinted in a blue print on demand edition.

No copies found in OCLC as of April 2024.
