The first and scarcest of three editions of the memoir and memory training guide by famed mentalist and memory performer William John Bottell (1875 – 1956), known by his stage name Datas, famous for his reported ability to answer any question. Part autobiography, part instruction book, Datas recounts some of his more extraordinary feats and offers an explanation of his methods including the use of mnemonic devices like mental pictures, word association, and rhyme.
