Lonesome Traveler by Jack Kerouac . New York: McGraw Hill, 1960. First edition .
A literary giant alongside Burroughs and Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac (1922 – 1969) gave voice to a generation of seekers exploring their inner and outer worlds through experimenting with spirituality, drugs, and traveling to new places. Most famous for his books On The Road and The Dharma Bums, the short stories and essays within Lonesome Traveler provide variations on similar themes.
