Signed copy of the second book by claimed UFO contactee and arguable cult leader George Adamski, a Polish immigrant with little formal education who became something like a prophet after purportedly encountering Venusian “Space Brothers” in 1952. Following off the rapid success of Adamski’s 1953, The Flying Saucers Have Landed (co-written with Desmond Leslie), in Inside The Space Ships George Adamski exposits further on the peaceful, uplifting mission of the Space Brothers, life on Venus and throughout the universe, and includes many photographs including one supposedly taken by a Space Brother of Adamski inside one of their craft.
Prior to his purported alien encounters Adamski led a Theosophically inspired Eastern mystical group, the Royal Order of Tibet, in the 1930s. After going public with the Space Brothers story in 1953, until his death in 1965 Adamski maintained a worldwide society of followers by mail, the Get Acquainted Program (G.A.P.), active in 17 countries at its height.
