Later impression of the Canterbury Poets edition of the scarce collection of English poetry on fairies, “Fairy Music”, selected and introduced by noted occultist and scholar Arthur Edward Waite, including works from Shakespeare, Poe, Spence, Scott, Jonson, Keats and others in addition to Old English ballads.
Originally published as “Songs and Poems of Fairyland”, the Canterbury Poets variant is a reedit, reduced in size and content, and released by the same publisher later the same year. A later impression, this example bears the title “Elfin Music” on the spine label and “Fairy Music” on the cancelled half-title.
