A transcript of a lecture on psychic powers and their development by Cecil Lee Morgan delivered at a 1963 seminar of the Spiritual Frontiers Fellowship, the occult research group founded by prominent medium Arthur Ford in 1956.
Morgan, a Methodist reverend who became fascinated with ESP and psychic phenomena, claims that “the prophets were the greatest occultists in history” as personal connection and communication with God requires significant psychic development and internal evolution. Framing Jesus as an ascended spiritual master, Morgan advocates for following Christ’s example and connecting to his consciousness, in awareness that God is in and acts through us with his “tremendous faculties”.
