Change An Unusual I-Ching Divination Guide Incorporating the Readings of Edgar Cayce
[Shelley, Violet]. Change A Working Study of Concepts Found In The Edgar Cayce Readings And The Ancient Chinese Oracle, I Ching. A.R.E. Press. Virginia Beach, VA. 1993. Third Edition.
Change provides an unusual approach to divination using the hexagrams of the ancient Chinese I-Ching to refer to various writings and prophecies of Edgar Cayce “The Sleeping Prophet” (1877 – 1945). The text provides a brief series of instructions for the derivation of the 64 I-Ching hexagrams by the traditional coin method, including the standard chart for the combination of trigrams, the entries for each hexagram lack much of their usual poetic descriptions and images from the original text (including the entire notion of changing lines) which have instead been replaced by relevant selections from the preserved readings of Edgar Cayce by his followers.
