Limited second edition of The Book Of Early Whisperings the collected spiritual writings of painter and New Thought author Walter Russell, purportedly channeled from God during the same two weeks in early May each year, with seven illustrated plates of the author’s artwork. Originally published in 1949 shortly after his move to the Swannanoa Palace mansion with his second wife and spiritual partner Lao Russell, to whom this text is dedicated. This copy of the limited second edition includes an encouraging inscription from Lao. Swannanoa was also the site of the Russells’ University of Science and Philosophy.
103pp. Blue cloth boards with title and author gilt to front and spine. Some wear edges, spine ends, and corners. Includes 7 plates. Pages clean. Inscription from Lao Russell laid in on half title page. Original grey dust jacket with minor wear to spine ends and corners. Very good in very good.
