The final issue of the early fanzine Masquerader written and edited by Mike Vosburg, special effects artist and later contributor to various underground comix such as Kitchen Sink Press’ Bizarre Sex #3. This issue of Masquerader includes a cover by later editor of the influential fanzine Alter Ego, Ronn Foss, as well as a short interview with legendary comic artist Jack Kirby (creator of the Fantastic Four, Captain America, X-Men and many others) conducted by a teenage Len Wein four years before he started is own professional work in 1968. Wein (1948 – 2017) is best remembered for co-creating Wolverine and Swamp Thing for Marvel and DC comics, respectively, as well as serving as the editor for Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ Watchmen.
This copy was formerly owned by Marvel Comics colorist Andy Yanchus noted for his work on Alpha Flight.

29pp, staple bound folio. Printed wraps with light wear to edges. Former stapling and mailing wear with postage and address written on verso. Pages toned but clean except for staple holes at margins. Very good.
